Haidi Rodriguez

Haidi was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and graduated from the Fox College veterinary technology program in 2012. With experience in private practice and emergency care, she has honed her skills across various settings. Haidi served as the medical services supervisor at an animal shelter in southern Wisconsin, where she developed a keen interest in community outreach and providing access to veterinary care.

Since joining the WisCARES team in November 2020, Haidi has dedicated herself to expanding diversity in veterinary medicine and improving access to care for the Latinx community. She is passionate about ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, has access to quality veterinary services. Additionally, Haidi speaks Spanish (Hablo Español), which allows her to connect more effectively with a broader range of clients.

Haidi’s favorite part of her job is using her critical thinking skills to devise solutions for both the clinic and its clients. Outside of work, she enjoys travel and outdoor recreation. She lives with her son and, although they have fostered several animals, they are still looking forward to adding a furry friend to their family someday.
